PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:

CHILDREN

  • Under 8s must be accompanied in the water at all times by an adult (18 years+).
  • A maximum of two under 8s are admitted per adult.
  • To ride the large poolside slide children must be over 8 years and at least 1.2m in height.
  • Encourage children to use the toilet and shower before they swim.
  • Young children should wear special swimming trunks or aqua nappies (not normal nappies).
  • It is advisable to wait for babies to reach 6 months of age before bringing them into a large public pool.
  • Supervision is imperative at all times, lifeguards are there for users safety but they cannot replace the care and attention of a parent for children who are using the pool, particularly if they are weak or non-swimmers.
  • Weak and non-swimmers should remain in the lagoon area or the shallow end of the main pool.

ADULTS

  • Shower before entering the pool (you are going to get wet anyway!).
  • Please observe the lane signs and swim in the lane appropriate for your ability.
  • Do not swim if you have recently eaten or consumed alcohol.
  • Do not leave valuables or articles unattended.  It is advisable to use the lockers provided (£1 returnable) or valuables lockers (20p non- refundable, near reception).


DO NOT GO SWIMING IF:

You have had diarrhoea in the last 14 days.
