Shiverers are an inclusive club, which welcomes new members and caters for beginners through to competitive, national and international standard swimmers, with training sessions available six days a week, for competitive swimmers.

Dolphin Disabled Swimming Club

  • Recovering from a stroke?
  • Affected by MS or Parkinsons?
  • Recuperating from surgery or accident?
  • Suffering from an arthritic condition?

All these and other conditions respond to exercise in the water resulting in improved mobility, health and well-being.  We offer exercise sessions supervised by a qualified physiotherapist and members have exclusive use of an uncrowded swimming pool*.

Where?  The King Alfred Leisure Centre, Hove.
When?  Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 10.30am.
How much?  £3 each session plus £15 annual membership.

*Sessions take place in a normally heated swimming pool, not a purpose built hydrotherapy pool. The Club is run by patients for patients on a voluntary charitable basis.
