Free Swimming At Brighton & Hove City Council Swimming Pools
As part of a national Government scheme free swimming will be available from 1st April 2009 for those aged 16 years & under and 60 years & over at Brighton & Hove public swimming pools. You can start swimming for free from 1 April 2009 to 31st July 2010 at: King Alfred Leisure Centre Prince Regent Swimming Complex St Luke’s Community Pool STOP PRESS - FREE SWIMMING EXTENDED! In order to take advantage of the Free Swimming Scheme you will need to sign up and register your details to obtain a Free Swimming membership card. To register please visit your swimming pool reception with appropriate ID. Those aged 60 years and over will be required to show proof of age i.e. Driving Licence, Pension Book or Passport. For those aged 16 years and under the Parent/Guardian MUST come into the centre with the completed and signed form and child’s proof of age i.e. original birth certificate or passport. The child must also be present as their photograph will be taken for the membership card. All those registered will receive a membership card which must be presented on each visit to allow access to the pool. Your FREE swimming will be available in the following sessions: REMAINING AS PAYING SESSIONS You are able to swim as often as you would like in the sessions highlighted as free (subject to restrictions). Please note: There will be a nominal charge to replace lost or stolen cards. If you qualify for free swimming and pay in advance for your membership you may apply for a refund for the period remaining on your membership. If you pay monthly by Direct Debit you will need to stop this payment – please refer to your membership terms and conditions.
